The fundamental strategic positions and the mission of the FH bfi Vienna are laid down in the mission statement. Based on this, the degree programmes can specialise in relation to their professional fields. Medium-term aims are established in the FH’s strategic concepts according to the mission statement. With our degree programmes we offer academically well-founded professional education. It is a major concern for the FH bfi Vienna to encourage both male and female students and students from various cultural backgrounds according to their needs. Through our courses and further education programmes for our graduates (but not only for those!), we facilitate encounters in the “scientific community“. Moreover, internationalisation is key to many activities at the FH BFI Vienna, and is a recurrent theme in teaching, research and administration. We are convinced that cultural diversity is an asset for our university, and that international exchange and international networking constitute a prerequisite for acting successfully in a global context now and in future. Internationalisation at the FH BFI Vienna is firmly rooted in the Bologna System, which we have successfully put into practice. The fact that we have been awarded the ECTS-Label and the Diploma Supplement Label is proof that we are heading in the right direction. In the International Office of the FH BFI Vienna all our international activities converge(. Source: the university’s website)
