University College of Northern Denmark

UCN does its utmost to help international students make their stay in Aalborg beneficial and comfortable as possible. They have various opportunities for housing students at their disposal, and are more than happy to help international and EU students find a place to stay.

It can be difficult to find student jobs, but it is allowed for EU nationals and non EU nationals (up to 15 hours per week). In order to apply for a residence permit for Denmark, students must document that they have paid the required tuition fee. If you have been granted a tuition waiver you must instead document that you dispose of DKK 4200 (approx. €563) per month (in all DKK 50000 = approx. €6703) by including e.g. a bank statement in your own name or documentation for a grant or scholarship.
