Frederick University

Frederick University is an energetic and vibrant private university operating in the Republic of Cyprus, a member state of the European Union. Frederick University was established after a decision by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus on 12th September 2007. Although the establishment of the University is relatively recent, the organisation has a long history of more than 40 years in higher education. Central to the goals of higher education is the acquisition of the necessary skills for a successful future career. The Service includes a Careers Office that aims to support Frederick University students as well as graduates in finding either part-time jobs to support their studies or full-time jobs after their graduation.

The office is in close link with the local market and maintains lists of job postings. For the office success Frederick University maintains strong ties with its alumni, a pool from which Frederick University graduates can get informed about jobs available. The Office also provides counseling services regarding career opportunities and discussion on related concerns that students may have. Furthermore, at the end of every semester, the Office organises CV writing and interviewing techniques workshops.
