KEA – Copenhagen School of Design and Technology

Copenhagen School of Design and Technology is an Academy of Higher Education which offers over 30 different educational programmes at Bachelor degree and Academy Professional degree levels. We have just above 8500 students including both full time and part time. KEA is engaged in several international projects and events for students each year. We develop our own concepts or participate in existing formats because we believe that cross cultural competencies and an international network are crucial to our student’s future possibilities. At KEA Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, the international element is of great importance. For example, many foreign exchange students are joining in for one or two semesters within one of KEA’s international programmes. It can be difficult to find student jobs, but it is allowed for EU nationals and non EU nationals (up to 15 hours per week). In order to apply for a residence permit for Denmark, students must document that they have paid the required tuition fee. If you have been granted a tuition waiver you must instead document that you dispose of DKK 4,200 (approx. €563) per month (in all DKK 50,000 = approx. €6,703) by including e.g. a bank statement in your own name or documentation for a grant or scholarship.
