Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences is one of the major universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands. Currently, Over 30,000 students and around 3,000 members of staff are pursuing their career here – the typical Rotterdam way. Through our Rotterdam Educational Model we provide practice-focused, well-considered, flexible education that allows all of our students and staff to play an important role in real, innovative projects. We teach them how to play that role and provide them with the necessary tools: an expert view, a lot of nerve, and a result-focused approach. Our university of applied sciences is divided into eleven schools, offering more than 80 graduate and undergraduate programmes in seven fields: art, technology, media and information technology, health, behaviour and society, engineering, education, and of course, and business. A major factor of our success is staying closely tuned in to the pulse of the city of Rotterdam. We also have a vast international network of partner universities as well as corporate relations. Together with our partners we can offer our students the global outlook they need to thrive. Over 40 different nationalities are represented amongst our student population, which is the ideal environment to prepare for an international career. (Source: the university’s website)
